Through the process of researching, documenting, and writing her grandmother's story, Sandy discovered a passion for storytelling and a deep appreciation for the truths that shape our lives. That passion led her to explore broader questions about human behavior, conscience, accountability, and the choices people make when confronted with difficult realities.

Her second book, PRESENCE: The Haunting of Conscience, marks a transition into fiction while continuing to explore themes that have become central to her work: truth and self-deception, responsibility and denial, and the unseen forces that influence human behavior.

Her latest project, The THREADS Between Us, reflects another side of her writing. Co-authored with aspiring author Molare Curlay, it celebrates the love, friendships, and memories that have shaped their family. Together, they preserve the stories, laughter, and everyday moments, reminding us that the strongest threads in life are the ones we create.
